Hi dear mama! Becoming a mother in a big city comes with a lot of advantages, but somehow, even with all the families and baby classes around you, it's so easy to feel alone in your journey, especially when you're the first among your friends to walk this path and your family lives hours away.
I created this guide with local mom-centered resources, from pelvic floor therapists to postpartum meal deliveries and mom communities, in hopes that your experience feels a little more embodied, supported, and a lot less lonely.
I wish I had access to something like this when I was pregnant with my first baby. After giving birth I was craving real connection, reassurance, and space to become a mother (because it is a process! I hope you already heard about matrescence).
A lot of these communities and businesses were created recently, which honestly makes me so happy. This space is finally filling up with incredible initiatives built with moms in mind, and I'm so excited to be part of it!
I'm determined to keep this guide alive and continue adding offerings and practitioners as I discover them. If you think someone or something is missing or if you’re supporting moms, please send me a DM or email me at [email protected]. I would love to hear from you!
xx Ksenia
