- The Class - this is not necessarily a pilates class, it also doesn’t have a dedicated class for mothers. I just knew that it must be added to this list. The Class is a music-driven somatic movement studio. Every time I go there I feel so much lighter and reconnected with my body. I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone freshly postpartum though as it can get pretty intense.

- Local YMCA/Lifetime - don't sleep on the big gym chains: family memberships typically include free childcare while you work out (Life Time offers up to 2.5 hours daily for kids 3 months+, 2 hours for infants; YMCA includes free Child Watch too for 2 hours a day). A sneaky-good option if you just need a guilt-free hour to move, work or just wash your hair in silence!
